By Bob Adam (Key West, Fl) Anyone who denies his honesty has not done the homework. I checked the web sources and information supplied in the book and it checks out...... I first learned about the book in a chat room where it was being hotly debated. It appeared to me that those defending Elian's return to Cuba were also defending Castro and his communist regime. The book mentions the Cuba web sites and the Castro supporters who bombard the U.S. chat rooms with their undocumented propaganda. I noted they used the same phrases and did not supply facts.

I read this book. Let me tell you now, If you haven't read this you MUST READ! I learned from this impressive work more than I thought I could learn. First you have to realize the detail is amazing. This author lives this stuff and it shows. Impassioned works are the most compelling and for me, enriching beyond all others. I never felt as much compassion about the plight of the people of Cuba as I now feel.
